With CegoAdm, a Java based frontend GUI is provided for the Cego database system. The usage of CegoAdm requires an active cego database system running on any host reachable via an ip connection. For more information about how to set up a cego database system see the online documenation The Cego database system for more details.
All administrative tasks described for the cgadm console client are done in a more convenient way using the CegoAdm program. This includes monitoring of the current status of the database system but also several important database administration tasks like creating, starting and stopping tablesets.
This documentation explains all provided administration tasks illustrated by several screenshots of the GUI.
