SysMT implements an ITSM framework to support the ITIL oriented service management in the datacenter.

Originally, this application was developed to manage maintain activities for SAP systems in a large datacenter environment. In the meantime, the application has grown up and works as a productive application for several years. The approach covers the whole life-cycle of any system including the plan and build process but also all maintain activities for the system in normal operation.

An integrated data model for all organisational and technical areas ensures consistency and efficiency regarding process implementation and execution but also an overall cost reduction.

This manual describes the several functions of SysMT. Beginning with the device management to manage all assets, followed by the service management chapter to describe the provided application services up to the system and operation management to cover concerns of the daily doing, the most important aspects are covered relevant for a modern IT service management.

In this sense, this documentation is just a users manual to work with SysMT. Any further support is provided with out our professional consulting service.
